Sonic Incytes is seeking a Clinical Trainer & Support Specialist, responsible for the successful onboarding, training, and monitoring of Velacur users. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile start-up environment and desires to positively impact patient care.

This individual must be able to learn new skills quickly and effectively. Also, as the position is customer-centric, the candidate must be able to build trust and demonstrate excitement in fulfilling customer needs and providing exemplary customer service.

This is a full-time 1099 contractor position, based remotely in the U.S. This position will report to the Senior, Clinical Trainer and Support Specialist and must be able to travel up to 60% in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct the successful onboarding and training of Velacur users (customers) on both new and existing installations via in-person and remote training.
  • Provide customer and technical support to Velacur users to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor customer scans as part of the quality review process, ensuring customers are getting clear and accurate patient scans. If scans are low quality, provide customers training to ensure better scan quality.
  • Provide sales support by performing Velacur demos to prospective customers virtually or in-person at physician offices, at tradeshows, during educational events and other required locations.
  • Support the creation of training materials and programs for Velacur users and internal team members in digital, video, print and in-person formats.
  • Collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Product Development and Clinical to identify training opportunities and deficiencies. Actively research and identify ways to address these needs.
  • Gather customer feedback and report on customer experience.
  • Contribute to ongoing product improvement initiatives involving usability.
  • Other related duties, as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Applied Sciences, Science, or Health Sciences.
  • 3+ years of experience as a medical trainer or educator.
  • Practical medical imaging experience required. Ultrasound is an asset.
  • Experience working directly with medical staff.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Uses initiative and able to operate independently with minimal direction.
  • Flexible and adaptable to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.
  • Computer proficiency, with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications to prepare charts, tables, forms, reports, and presentations.
  • Experience with e-mail and calendar programs.
  • Able to travel up to 60% in the U.S.
